Over recent years, we have carried out a number of projects with
Multivac UK at their base located in Swindon. It is this continued work that has enabled us to develop a great working relationship with the company and is also the reasoning for our involvement in the recent refurbishment, which has taken place at the Swindon location.
In the March of 2015, Multivac UK decided to undergo a £2 million modernisation programme, which was recently showcased in March 2016. Due to the previous services we had provided to the company, Multivac were keen for us to help with the installation of the audio visual technology within their new development.
A key aspect of the development is the new showroom area, which is where a large percentage of our involvement in the project took place. To date, we have installed a
video wall within the showroom - to enable visitors to see products and processes - along with
digital signage screens, which have been installed facing the entrance to the building. We began working with Multivac UK in 2013, when we removed their old Audio Visual equipment and upgraded them to the latest technology, which included interactive projectors
and large format displays. The original projectors were taking up approximately 3-4ft of wall space within several rooms. The new equipment we installed saved Multivac valuable office & meeting room space and has improved productivity within these high use areas.
We were then asked to carry out another project within the building's reception area. During this project, we installed a video wall comprising 4 display screens running a Eurosign digital signage processor, which helped the company to grab the attention of those passing through the reception and provided them with information.
As part of the recent refurbishment, the company now have several training areas and classrooms, all of which we have kitted out with audio visual technology. Whilst planning for the installation of AV technology within these classrooms, we used the knowledge and experience we have developed over our 35 years in business, to decide which technology would be the best option for the space that was available in these rooms.
